St. Louis LDA relies solely on the financial support of individuals, corporations, foundations and fundraising events. In addition, we derive some income from program and testing fees. We do not receive any federal or state government funding or United Way allocations.
There are many ways to support St. Louis LDA and every contribution has a direct impact on the lives of the children, families and teachers we serve. The need in our community is enormous and we are working feverishly to meet the needs of all children so that they no longer have to experience the negative effects of learning disabilities. In 2009, St. Louis LDA helped 29,573 children, families, and professionals. The demand is overwhelming!
