Parents whose children are in crisis often don’t know where to turn for help. They need to be able to talk immediately with someone who understands the full picture of learning disabilities and who will listen to what is happening and provide advice on the next steps.
St. Louis LDA offers educational specialists who are available when a concern arises about a child's development, academic progress or social/emotional functioning. We consult with parents to direct them to available information and resources when their child is in crisis.
At this initial contact, we are able to make available LDA’s wide range of programs or make referrals to appropriate professionals or other services that help achieve targeted solutions.
