Mission Statement
The mission of the LDA Young Professional Board is to increase awareness in the community and beyond on how LDA embraces learning differences among students of all ages, while developing leadership among young adults. All activities will support the mission of St. Louis LDA, while maintaining LDA values, image and ethics.

The Young Professionals Board holds a variety of activities throughout the year in order to raise funds for programs and services at St. Louis LDA.
Who Are Young Professionals?
Our St. Louis LDA Young Professionals are local professionals ages 20 to 49 who are interested in not only networking with others in the area but who also are devoted to helping raise awareness, develop plans for and implement events that further the St. Louis LDA mission of helping children who struggle with learning disabilities.
Young Professionals Board meetings are held once a month at varying locations. Board members take part in:
Fundraising • Friend Raising • Networking • Develop Skills for Board Roles • Recruiting other Young Professionals • Supporting the fundraising efforts of St. Louis LDA
